Many people have asked why open a boutique at this point in my life…I’ve had a successful career in pharmaceuticals and I was enjoying staying home with my son. Once he started kindergarten I began volunteering for many organizations…Meals on Wheels, Dress for Success, The Blueprints program, and being the lunch lady! Although I was volunteering like it was a full time job, I still felt like something was missing. I really enjoyed volunteering at Dress for Success and seeing the transformation the women made in just a short time period. They would enter the boutique saying, “You’ll never find something that fits me,” or “I hate wearing dresses.” I loved finding them outfits and coordinating accessories, coats, shoes, handbags, and everything else that would give them the confidence from within to land a new job. It was so rewarding seeing their self-growth. When Anna decided to sell the boutique it was a no-brainer for me to purchase and put my own spin on it. One of my other passions is going to spas and taking care of my skin. I was so excited that I could bring the Hydrafacial Machine to the area! More to come on that in another blog! Thank you for taking the time to read this and more importantly thank you for taking a chance to visit a new boutique in the area. We should be having our grand opening mid-April.
